Mixed Resolution Rendering talk @ GDC 2009
Organizers finally scheduled my talk at GDC 2009. It will be happening Friday 27th from 10:30am — 10:50am in Room 130, North Hall. The description of the talk is here (mirrored link). I’ll be showing one or more short demos as time allows. Come out and say hi.

Hi, I’ll definitely be popping along to see this talk. I’ve been meaning to try out the DO in “Approximating Dynamic Global Illumination in Image Space”, but generating that information at 1/4 resolution initially, and then upsampling. Looking forward to seeing the demos.

Unfortunately this is only a 20 minute talk. I probably could have stretched it to an hour (20 and 60 are the only two choices) but I figured it was better to be concentrated than watered down. So time will be tight. Not sure how much time I’ll have to show demos. But I should be able to make them available for download afterwards.

I’ll be there. I’m always up for adding a couple of tricks to my inventory. It’s a shame you’re going to be a bit rushed though.
